Brain octane oil is a form of MCT oil that is said to be more effectively digested than other types of MCT oil. My butter coffee recipe is created with MCT oil, butter or ghee, and unsweetened almond milk, but it also includes other ingredients. This, I believe, gives it a more latte-like flavor.

You might be asking why you should use butter in your coffee. This process emulsifies the fats, resulting in a creamy, smooth consistency with a frothy surface on the top.

There are two options for accomplishing this:
