  • French press, bag of ground coffee*Warm water (not boiling, but very hot) and a bag of ground coffee are all you’ll need for this. I microwave water for 3 minutes every 2 cups of water in a microwave-safe container. Fill the French press halfway with water and add the coffee grinds (my magic number is 2.5 scoops per cup of water). A plastic or wooden spoon (or reusable plastic straw) should be used to stir since a metal spoon will damage the bottom of your French press. Allow for 4 minutes of resting time, then replace the lid and gently press it down to release the coffee into a large glass of ice. Simple syrup and creamer (or sweet cream coffee creamer) should be stirred in. Enjoy. Restriction: Keep leftovers refrigerated and serve over ice.
