What Comes Out After Coffee Enema? (Question)

  • The astringent quality of the coffee is excellent at stripping away layers caked onto the sides of the colon. This might be old stools or even layers of old mucus that contains bacterias and parasites. I have also personally seen this old parasite filled mucus come out after doing coffee enemas.

What does an enema flush out?

The purpose of a cleansing enema is to gently flush out the colon. It may be recommended prior to a colonoscopy or other medical examination. Constipation, fatigue, headaches, and backaches may be relieved by a cleansing enema.

Does an enema completely clean you out?

Cleansing enemas are water-based and meant to be held in the rectum for a short time to flush your colon. Once injected, they’re retained for a few minutes until your body rids itself of the fluid, along with loose matter and impacted stool in your bowel.

How do you know if an enema worked?

You may feel “heavy” in your abdomen and lower gastrointestinal (GI) tract. That’s the result of the influx of fluid. You may also experience mild muscle contractions or spasms. This is a sign the enema is working.

Are enemas bad for your colon?

Enemas Are Safe An incorrectly administered enema can damage tissue in your rectum/colon, cause bowel perforation and, if the device is not sterile, infections. Long-term, regular use of enemas can cause electrolyte imbalances. Temporary side effects of enemas can include bloating and cramping.

How far up does an enema clean?

Toronto Area Colon Hydrotherapy During an enema, a quantity of water, usually between a quarter litre to one litre, is taken into the body, where it travels approximately 6 to 8 inches up the colon, is typically held for up to 20 minutes, and then expelled.

Does enema clean large intestine?

Colon cleansing involves flushing out waste from your colon (the large intestine) using fluids. Colonics and enemas are both common methods of colon cleansing.

Does enema cause mucus?

While routine shedding is normal, excessive or altered shedding of intestinal mucus may be a sign of gastrointestinal conditions like inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) or colon cancer. During enemas and colon hydrotherapy sessions, some people experience a flushing of what’s believed to be a buildup of mucus.

What comes out during a colonic?

During a colon cleanse, large amounts of water — sometimes up to 16 gallons (about 60 liters) — and possibly other substances, such as herbs or coffee, are flushed through the colon. This is done using a tube that’s inserted into the rectum.

Is it normal to have diarrhea after enema?

Nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea are all possible side effects of an enema, warn the researchers who covered the risks of colon cleansing in a clinical article for The Journal of Family Practice. Risks. Enema risks include perforation of the rectum, which requires surgery to repair and possible damage to internal organs.

Can you use the same enema bottle twice?

Can you use two doses of saline enema (Fleet Enema) in a row? No, you should never use more that 1 dose of saline enema (Fleet Enema) in 24 hours. If 1 enema is not enough, you should contact your healthcare provider. If you wish, you can use 1 enema two days in a row.

Can I drink water after enema?

Do not eat after using it. You will be able to eat straight after the test. You may drink water before the test, but not other drinks.

Will impacted stool eventually come out?

Once fecal impaction occurs, the intestine will not be able to remove the feces from the body through the normal contraction process. Hence, it’s typically impossible to excrete wastes from the body, defecate, or poop with impacted feces.

How do I completely empty my bowels?

How to empty your bowels without straining

Healthy Colon Cleansers So every day that you meet your recommended daily dose — between 21 and 25 grams per day for adult women and 30 to 38 grams for adult men — you’re literally consuming a colon cleanser.

What does a coffee enema do?

For many who rely on caffeine to get them through the day, a cup of coffee in the morning is an absolute necessity. The consumption of a cup of coffee in the morning, on the other hand, leads many individuals to physically “go” to the toilet and pass gas. Those who use coffee enemas to clear their intestines are operating on the same principles as those who do not. Using coffee enemas is a complementary medicine treatment that does not have a large amount of scientific evidence to support its use.

In rare cases, coffee enemas may be a viable choice for those who need to treat constipation or prepare for an operation; nevertheless, doctors do not normally suggest them.

Constipation may be extremely unpleasant and hazardous, and it can even result in a tiny bowel obstruction or even a hole in the gut if it persists for an extended period of time.

Water, mineral oil, or water with a tiny bit of soap added to it are the most widely used cleaning agents.

  1. Even while coffee enemas are said to offer several health benefits, they can be quite harmful if administered incorrectly or too frequently.
  2. According to some reports, a chemical found in coffee called cafestol palmitate stimulates the activity of an enzyme known as glutathione S-transferase, which helps to open the bile duct in the liver.
  3. Aside from theobromine and caffeine, three additional components of coffee are thought to enlarge blood vessels and the bile duct even more, which increases the flow of bile in the body.
  4. In 2014, a research published in Clinical Nutrition Research looked into the use of coffee enemas in preparation for video capsuleendoscopy, which lets a doctor to see inside the gut’s inner workings.
  5. The 34 participants in the study were separated into two groups by the researchers.
  6. When it came to the visibility of the initial segment of the small bowel, the researchers discovered that there was no difference between the two study groups.
  7. An report published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology described a case of inflammation of the colon and rectum in a Korean woman who had taken coffee enemas for a long period of time.

She chilled the water and used the combination as an enema to get rid of the toxins.

The authors noted out that coffee enemas have also been linked to recorded cases of mortality due to electrolyte imbalances, as well as bacterial infection following repeated coffee enemas, among other complications.

There is a great deal of contradicting research on the subject of coffee enemas.

If you experience periodic constipation, there are commercially made enemas that you may use.

Before undertaking a coffee enema, people should always consult with a doctor to verify that they do not have any health issues that might prevent them from effectively doing the procedure.

However, hot coffee will burn, which may be extremely harmful to fragile rectal tissue. Liquids at room temperature do not burn, however hot coffee does. A coffee enema can be performed by following the instructions outlined below.

  • Prepare a 1-liter combination of distilled water and 2 teaspoons of coffee by steeping the coffee in the water for 1 minute. It is possible to make the coffee in a standard coffee machine, which will yield around 4 cups of 8-ounce coffee. Amount of grounds in the coffee should not be present
  • Allow enough time for the coffee mixture to settle down to room temperature before serving. Never use hot or even warm water for the enema
  • Instead, use warm water. Place towels on a bed, couch, or other space where the individual may lie down on their left side to allow the water to infiltrate their body. Being close to the restroom will be beneficial since the individual may use the restroom on an emergency basis. An enema method should be used to provide the coffee mixture to the rectum. These are frequently available for purchase at local pharmacies. They are usually equipped with a plastic water bottle with tubing attached, which they inject into their rectum. It is possible that a person will want to apply a water-based lubricant on the edge of the tip to make insertion easier
  • Inject as much of the 1-liter coffee/water mix into the rectum as you possibly can at this time. It is possible that the full solution will not be absorbed, and it should not be pushed into the rectum
  • The solution should be retained in the rectum for 10 to 15 minutes. When enemas are retained for this period of time, they are most effective. Following the enema, a person should make an effort to go to the toilet
  • If they do not see substantial effects from the initial enema, they may need to repeat it a few hours later.

Risks and considerations

Escalating the frequency with which one does an enema operation is vital since doing so might result in the loss of a substantial number of electrolytes, which are necessary for maintaining fluid equilibrium in the body. Prolonged diarrhea as a result of frequent enemas can potentially result in dangerous electrolyte imbalances, and anybody who experiences this should seek medical assistance immediately. Given the limited amount of information available on the possible long-term advantages and hazards associated with a coffee enema, many doctors are reluctant to suggest it.

  • Because there are other possibilities in terms of enema components, such as plain water or soap-suds enemas, they may be the preferable option for occasional constipation due to the availability of other options.
  • If a person is having difficulties going to the toilet on a regular basis, it is critical that they get medical treatment to discover if an underlying medical problem exists that might be addressed with medication.
  • Dr.
  • His theories are still alive and well today thanks to the Gerson Institute, which is committed to furthering his medical research.
  • Gerson saw coffee enemas as a method of purifying the body of “poisons” that resided in the tissues and organs of the patient.
  • Increased energy cell generation
  • Improved tissue health
  • Increased blood circulation
  • Improved immunity
  • Increased cell development

As part of Gerson therapy, in addition to coffee enemas, patients must consume a diet that is high in potassium and low in salt. Dr. Gerson felt that by repairing tissue damage, a nutritional approach may help to mend damaged cells and, in certain cases, even battle malignant cells in the body. Most physicians and naturopaths will advise individuals against experimenting with coffee enemas. Enemas purchased over-the-counter are a safer alternative. Coffee enemas are being researched for their potential use as an alternative cancer therapy for some forms of cancer.

Complementary and alternative treatments should always be discussed with a doctor before beginning a course of treatment. Some of these therapies may interfere with the treatment regimens prescribed by a doctor.

5 Things You Need to Know About Coffee Enemas

The spring equinox, which will occur on March 20, 2020, is the best time of the year to cleanse the liver, and there is no better time than now. Coffee enemas are a straightforward and efficient method of accomplishing this.

How do coffee enemas work?

As far back as the 1800s, coffee enemas were being used to treat various ailments. Studies conducted in the 1920s revealed that coffee enemas had a variety of therapeutic benefits. Max Gerson, the originator of the Gerson Therapy, conducted more research into the effects of coffee enemas and incorporated them into his treatment programs. When a litre of coffee solution is put into the colon, it goes past the colon wall and into the portal system, which is a network of blood vessels that transports blood from the intestines to the liver, as opposed to traveling through the whole digestive system as is the case with water.

Coffee contains a variety of chemicals, each of which has a distinct impact.

Free radicals have the potential to cause harm to our cells and DNA.

When consumed together, theophylline and theobromine dilate blood arteries, allowing for a greater amount of blood to travel through the system and be filtered by the liver at the same time.

How will I feel after a coffee enema?

After undergoing a coffee enema, the majority of people report greater mental clarity and vitality. Additionally, they can assist in the normalization of bowel movements, which is particularly beneficial if you suffer from constipation. This is in contrast to many people’s beliefs that taking enemas can weaken the intestines. As a matter of fact, the fluid enhances peristalsis, the movement in the gastrointestinal system that assists in the flow of substances through and out of the body, particularly in the case of undesired or indigestible substances.

How to make your coffee enema solution

Coffee that is grown organically Coffee enemas should always be performed with organically grown ground coffee, never with instant coffee! For those who are sensitive to coffee, or who suffer from anxiety or adrenal exhaustion, I would recommend starting with a teaspoon and working your way up from there. If you are in good health and do not fall into any of the categories of people who should not perform a coffee enema stated below, you can begin with a heaping dessertspoon of ground coffee and work your way up from there.

If there are no bad responses, you can gradually raise the amount to as much as 3 tablespoons each day.

  • Pour the coffee and two quarts of filtered water into a non-aluminum pan and set aside. In order to avoid toxic buildup in the system, filtered water is required, as tap water or water from plastic bottles will do. Bring the mixture to a boil and leave it to boil for 3 minutes, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for another 15 minutes. Strain the solution through a fine-mesh stainless steel sieve or through unbleached coffee filter paper and set it aside to cool to body temperature. Fill the container up to 1 litre with some body temperature filtered water and store in your enema kit.

To save time and avoid having to let the mixture to cool, you may just put half a pint of liquid in your pan and top it up to produce a litre of body temperature water by mixing cold and boiling filtered water in a separate container. If you’re using an enema kit, open the tap at the end of the tube over a sink or toilet and let the liquid run through it until you have fluid with no gaps all the way through the tube — the gaps are air bubbles, and they should be removed since they make administering the enema harder.

As soon as the air bubbles have been expelled, turn off the water supply.

Coffee enemas can cause electrolyte loss, therefore this helps to restore electrolyte balance to the body.

This will help to re-balance your electrolytes by flooding your bloodstream with potassium and electrolyte-balancing minerals.

How to administer a coffee enema

Grab a big folded down blanket to lay below your bottom and lie down somewhere comfy that is within fast and easy access of a toilet to relieve yourself. Performing enemas in the bath is a popular choice for some individuals because the heat helps them retain more of the fluid. I’ve discovered that moving my lower abdomen slightly apart with both hands on my lower abdomen enables me to retain the enema more effectively. Others have discovered that laying on their right side with their legs slightly pushed up will assist them keep their memory.

In order to retain it, you should have had a bowel movement previously or washed out your colon prior to the procedure with one to two pints of body temperature filtered water, allowing it to be ejected immediately when the desire to defecate arises, whichever is more effective.

Coffee enemas are not suitable for everyone

Enemas of any kind should not be used during pregnancy, regardless of their purpose. Caffeine may be quite irritating to certain people. There are certain persons who have a genetic mutation that makes it difficult for them to detoxify caffeine effectively. Other people, particularly those suffering from adrenal exhaustion or multiple sclerosis (MS), may find coffee enemas to be overstimulating. As with diarrhoea, heart, renal, and respiratory failure, inflammatory bowel illnesses, removal of a portion of the colon or intestinal wall, high blood pressure, and post-surgery, coffee enemas should be avoided unless under the care of an appropriately educated naturopathic nutritionist.

  • Make sure you’re well hydrated, which means drinking 4 pints of still, pure water each day – read my article onhydration for more information on the best approach to keep oneself hydrated (and avoid dehydration).
  • If you are unsure of how you will respond to coffee, start with a teaspoon of coffee in your coffee solution and work your way up.
  • For those who find that caffeine makes them feel wired, gives them palpitations, causes shallow breathing, or gives them a sensation of anxiety, they can try an enema solution made with 2 level tablespoons of choline bitartrate powder instead of caffeine to see if it helps.
  • Other options, if you do not have Coeliac disease, are wheatgrass powder and chlorella powder.

Make sure the wheatgrass powder is pure and organic before using it in your enema solution. Start with a quarter teaspoon and work your way up. Because wheatgrass enemas are so cleansing, it is more difficult to maintain a regular practice.

Coffee Enema: Benefits, Risks, and More

What is a coffee enema, and how does it work? A coffee enema is a sort of colon cleansing that is commonly used in complementary and alternative medicine. It is necessary to do the process in order to enter a mixture of freshly brewed, caffeinated coffee, and water into the colon through the rectum. Coffee enemas may have begun in the early 1900s as a cancer therapy by German physicians on the lookout for a new remedy. However, it was the Gerson therapy that was responsible for putting the operation on the map.

  • The Gerson treatment was named after him because of his strict regimen.
  • That seems promising, doesn’t it?
  • Before attempting a coffee enema, there are a few things you should be aware of.
  • If you’re suffering from constipation, a coffee enema may be able to provide relief.
  • Boosts immunity, increases energy, prevents yeast overgrowth, treats autoimmune illnesses, eliminates parasites from the digestive tract, removes heavy metals from the body, cures depression, treats cancer, and so on.

There is no scientific evidence to support or refute the claim that coffee enemas are beneficial in the treatment of any medical problem. The majority of the evidence for or against the use of coffee enemas is anecdotal in nature. Traditional medicine does not believe that colon cleaning is essential because your body’s digestive system is capable of eliminating waste, poisons, and germs on its own. Autointoxication is the term used to describe the belief that intestinal waste is toxic to the body.

  1. Take a look at: The Master Cleanse Diet (also known as the Lemon Detox Diet) There are no clear medical rules governing who should have a coffee enema or when they should do so.
  2. Isaacs, M.D., individuals are constantly exposed to hazardous chemicals and pollutants in their food, air, and water, and this exposure is increasing.
  3. Coffee enemas may be used as an alternative to stimulant laxatives to prepare the bowel for a video capsule endoscopy instead of laxatives that stimulate the bowel.
  4. More research, however, is required before coffee enemas may be widely prescribed for bowel preparation.
  5. As revealed by the National Cancer Institute, three deaths that have been recorded in the literature appear to be associated to coffee enemas (also known as coffee enemas).
  6. The electrolyte imbalance was the cause of two other fatalities.
  7. The writers of the letter came to the conclusion that coffee enemas are dangerous and should be examined as an alternate therapeutic option.

If you have a caffeine sensitivity or are taking drugs that interact with caffeine, coffee enemas may be an issue for you to use. Colon cleaning may also result in the following side effects:

  • Reproductive tract burns, nausea and vomiting, cramps and bloating
  • Dehydration
  • Intestinal perforation
  • Infections brought on by inadequately sterilized equipment

A coffee enema can be conducted at home or, for a high charge, at some holistic health centers that specialize in detoxification. When it comes to doing a coffee enema, there aren’t any specific guidelines to follow. If you decide to get a coffee enema, you may experience cramps, pressure, and fullness while the treatment is being performed. It is possible that caffeine will cause you to feel unsteady or have heart palpitations as a side effect. You should drink lots of water afterward to avoid being dehydrated as a result of the exercise.

  • Several studies have found that coffee enemas increase overall health and well-being without causing detrimental side effects.
  • What is known for certain is that coffee enemas have the potential to be hazardous.
  • You should seek immediate medical attention if you opt to undergo a coffee enema and have any major adverse effects.

Proctocolitis From Coffee Enema : ACG Case Reports Journal

In addition to advocating for its use in the treatment of many medical conditions, proponents of coffee enemas claim that it is capable of healing advanced cancer through enzyme activation and toxin expulsion. There has been no scientific evidence to back up these claims, and its usage has been linked to negative side effects such as electrolyte imbalance and sepsis, to name a few. In this report, we describe a case of proctocolitis caused by a coffee enema.

A 40-year-old white lady reported with sudden onset of lower abdomen discomfort, hematochezia, and tenesmus, all of which were treated successfully. She stated that she had no recent travel history, sicknesses, or interaction with anyone who was unwell. The patient was diagnosed with mixed-type irritable bowel syndrome and biliary colic, but had never had rectal bleeding or hematochezia prior to the current visit. Despite the fact that she had a brother who suffers from ulcerative colitis and two relatives who suffer from Crohn’s disease, the patient denied having ever been diagnosed with inflammatory bowel illness in the past (IBD).

An abdominal computed tomography scan revealed severe proctocolitis extending from the distal descending colon to the rectum; her white blood cell count was 21.8 109 cells/L with a neutrophilic predominance; her C-reactive protein was 23 mg/L; and she tested positive for fecal leukocyte antigen (FLA).

  • A few hours before her symptoms began, the patient admitted to taking roughly 500 mL of room temperature coffee enema few hours prior.
  • When she returned home, she stated that the coffee had “never come back out.” The patient had been instructed to do so by her naturopathic doctor in order to clear her gallstones, which she did.
  • On day 3, a flexible sigmoidoscopy was conducted, which revealed significant inflammation up to 60 cm depth of the insertion site (Figure 1).
  • After repeat C.
  • By day 6, she was able to accept oral intake, although she continued to complain of pain, which was alleviated by dicyclomine administration.
  • Because the mucosa began to seem normal at that stage, it was decided not to further exploration beyond 30 centimeters.
  • In addition to displaying decreased stomach discomfort and cessation of rectal bleeding, she also had improved oral intake tolerance and a lowered white blood cell count of 13.8 109 cells/L on day 13.
  • Figure 1.:A flexible sigmoidoscopy performed on day 3 revealed significant rectal irritation.

Figure 3.:Flexible sigmoidoscopy performed on day 10 reveals that the irritated rectal mucosa has improved since the last test. After 10 days, a hematoxylineosin stain was performed, which revealed healed mucosa with granulation tissue.

Despite the fact that they are few and far between, references to coffee enemas in the literature give data that contradicts proponents’ assertions of their benefits. Proponents believe that the caffeine in the coffee activates antioxidant-like characteristics via glutathione S-transferase, and rectal administration of the coffee is believed to widen bile ducts and expel toxin-containing bile. 4On the other hand, coffee enemas are not associated with changes in glutathione levels in the blood.

  • 6In a clinical experiment including coffee enemas and other alternative medicines for pancreatic cancer, individuals who got chemotherapy lived three times as long as those who had a more natural treatment.
  • 8 There have been reports of negative side effects associated with the usage of coffee enema.
  • 2,3All three of these situations culminated in death.
  • There have been three reported cases of coffee enema-induced proctocolitis in the medical literature.
  • We suspect that her usage of feminine douching bottles, which adds extra pressure to the colon, as well as her allegation of coffee retention, may have contributed to this discovery.
  • The initial biopsy revealed that the patient had ischemic colitis.
  • In recent research on caffeine consumption, endothelium-derived hyperpolarizing factor-mediated vasoactive pathways were shown to be reduced in capillaries and arterioles, demonstrating that caffeine use impairs endothelial function.
  • In this study, we questioned if the patient’s strong family history of IBD predisposed her to inflammatory damage as a result of caffeine’s antagonistic effect on the adenosine receptor A 2A, a receptor that has been demonstrated to reduce mucosal inflammation in an animal model of IBD.
  • Our patient denied that he had consumed hot coffee, which would have resulted in thermal injury.
  • At this point, it is uncertain if recuperation will be a self-limiting process or whether medicine, such as steroids, may be necessary to aid in the process.
  • The fact that the enemas were more dangerous than beneficial could not be convinced from her perspective.

According to a poll conducted in 2015 in the United States, people’s trust in the medical system is eroding. In order for patients to embrace our evidence-based approach, we must work hard to establish trusted connections with them.19

How to do a coffee enema

Have you ever heard of anything called a coffee enema? It wasn’t until a few years back that I discovered it. It is not necessary to consume coffee in order to get the advantages of it. Coffee enemas are an excellent technique to detoxify the body. They were included in the Merck Manual as a scientific technique for detoxification and as a pain reliever until it was removed in the 1970s because to concerns about their safety. In this post, I’m going to walk you through the process of performing a Coffee Enema.

  • I came across some material regarding coffee enemas a few years ago and was intrigued.
  • I spent what seemed like hundreds of hours studying natural cancer cures and treatments for my mother.
  • Among the protocols that piqued my curiosity was the Gerson Therapy regimen.
  • As you will see in this piece, coffee enemas are an excellent tool for detoxifying the liver, eliminating germs from the body, and flushing out yeast and heavy metals.

What is a coffee enema?

A coffee enema is, in fact, exactly what you are thinking it is. A specific sort of coffee and water are inserted into your colon as a way of detoxification, and the combination is then removed. Caffeine is absorbed via the hemorrhoid vein, which then transports the caffeine to the liver and gallbladder after being ingested by the colon. It is estimated that at least 5 times throughout the time you are holding a coffee enema in the colon, all of the blood will travel through the liver. This enables the enema to eliminate toxins that have accumulated in the liver as a result of the diet.

Keep in mind that coffee enemas are not a new concept, having been around since the late 1800s or maybe earlier.

My Story

After nearly 17 years of dealing with severe dermatitis on my legs, which caused my skin to split open and bleed as a result of my scratching them so much, I finally found relief. It would itch so badly that it felt like bugs were crawling beneath my skin. I would try not to touch them throughout the day, but if I couldn’t control myself during the day, I would scratch them during the night when I was sleeping, resulting in blood and scabs. Every winter, this would continue for years, and by the summer, they would have cleared up.

My legs came out in a nasty rash that lasted for approximately a year and a half straight, and it was horrific!

I began preparing my own moisturizer with manuka honey and frankincense, which proved to be really beneficial, and I began taking coffee enemas once a week. My legs gradually began to improve, and I haven’t had an eruption since the beginning of 2019!

What are the benefits of doing a coffee enema?

The dermatitis on my legs was so terrible that my skin would burst open and bleed from scratching them so much that I had been suffering with it for nearly 17 years. It would itch so much because it felt like bugs were crawling beneath my skin. Even if I was able to refrain from scratching them during the day, I would scratch them while sleeping at night, resulting in blood and scabs on the affected areas. They would clean up by the summer after years of this happening every winter. It was a few years back when I shaved my beard and developed an allergic reaction to the strip on the razor.

As a result, my legs were permanently scarred, and I realized that something more must be done.

My legs gradually began to heal, and I haven’t had an outbreak since January of this year!

  • Coffee boosts the production of glutathione, an enzyme in the liver that aids in the removal of free radicals from the circulation. This also has anti-inflammatory properties and functions as a natural blood cleanser. It aids in the removal of fungus, yeast, and bacteria from the body. Cancer, overdosing, constipation, and IBS are among conditions for which they have been utilized
  • They have also been used to treat liver malfunction and digestive issues. They are also beneficial in the treatment of parasites and candida. Removes poisons from the body that have accumulated in the liver
  • Opens up the bile ducts and stimulates the production of bile, which is necessary for normal digestion. Aids in the treatment of weariness and depression. Natural cancer therapy is well-known in this area.

How to do a coffee enema at home.

In the comfort of your own home, you may do coffee enemas. First and foremost, you will need to purchase a coffee enema kit. I purchased mine from Amazon, and it is excellent. You may purchase the one I now have. Here The stainless steel bucket is convenient since it can be cleaned and re-used several times, resulting in cost savings. It’s also possible to use the plastic bags that are attached someplace above the toilet so that the contents may drain down. Following that, you must purchase the appropriate coffee beans.

  • Never use instant coffee in any situation.
  • You can get the coffee beans that I use right here!

One Year Of Coffee Enemas

Last September, I went completely public with my blog postHow I Take My Coffee (It’s Not What You Think). The purpose of that piece was to provide a brief history of coffee enemas, as well as my own personal experience with this purifying therapy. I was really stunned by the positive feedback and inquiries. My regular coffee enemas continue to this day, one year after I first started! As a result of the enemas, I’m going to share some of the things that transpired in my body with you in this piece.

Coffee Enemas: A God Thing?

In an attempt to save my gallbladder, which had been hurting me on and off for years, I began using coffee enemas last year as a last-ditch measure. After wanting to try coffee enemas for a long time, I was thrilled to discover a highly recommended gallbladder cleanse that included coffee enemas. I decided it was time to give it a shot. After my first coffee enema, I was hooked! The physical and emotional sensations that followed were incredible! Even after the cleanse was completed, I continued to follow the regimen.

  • I located a practitioner who was more than six hours distant but was willing to test and treat me over the phone.
  • C has received training in a therapeutic modality known as Nutritional Balancing, which is becoming increasingly popular.
  • C in February resulted in the conclusion that Nutritional Balancing was unquestionably the best therapy choice for the variety of inexplicable ailments I was experiencing at the time.
  • A significant component of nutritional balancing is the use of coffee enemas.
  • Having gained an advantage over the competition, it wasn’t too difficult for me to include the other components of the program, which included a slow-oxidizer diet, physician-recommended vitamins, rest, and a change in way of life.
  • When I travel, I even bring my enema supplies along with me.

Reading, listening to relaxing music, praying and even watching movies are some of my favorite things to do when in the toilet. It’s time well spent, I assure you!

The Good

A number of beneficial physiological changes have occurred in my body as a result of the daily coffee enemas that I have been doing. As a result of achieving my main aim and successfully preserving my gallbladder, I have also experienced a number of additional fortunate developments. Among other things, I used to have a severe sensitivity to coffee. One cup of coffee would make me anxious and frightened, my heart would beat, and I’d get the sensation that the sky was falling or something similar would happen.

  • Although I was concerned that coffee enemas might have the same effect, this was not the case!
  • Coffee enemas offer me a sense of mental clarity – a feeling of being wide awake and full of energy.
  • Despite the fact that I don’t drink caffeinated coffee on a regular basis, I am now able to do so without feeling jitters, uneasiness, heart palpitations, or sleeplessness.
  • The good news is that I’ve never had a problem with acne on my face, but my back was continually infected with the disease.
  • It only took a few months, but I now have ZERO breakouts on my lower back!

The Bad

Several times over the course of the past year, I’ve had what can only be characterized as dramatic healing reactions to my body. When these occasions have arisen, I have been quite grateful to Dr. C, who has assisted me in identifying what was going on in my body. Coffee enemas are very beneficial for liver detoxification, and my liver had been performing a lot of cleansing on a number of occasions at the time. When I wrote about the quick surge of nausea and faintness that I experienced following my first coffee enema, I was referring to that piece.

  1. Despite the fact that that precise event never occurred again, I did have other healing reactions as a result of the poisons that were leaking from my liver, and they were rather frightening.
  2. Within five minutes, I was coughing, wheezing, and covered in hives all over my body.
  3. I was hospitalized for ten days.
  4. C feels that my liver was having a tough time digesting the toxins as I transitioned from Phase 1 to Phase 2 detox, and that this was the most likely reason of the strong responses I was experiencing.
  5. Dr.
  6. I also have a strong sense of being “cleaned out,” and for good cause.
  7. Without a doubt, there was a lot of old, rotting, undigested junk in my colon, and coffee enemas were really efficient in getting rid of it!

Not to go into great detail about what came out the other side, but suffice it to say that by both sight and scent (shocking I know! ), it was clear that the coffee enemas were doing a thorough job of purging the system.

The Ugly

My body has gone through what can only be characterized as dramatic healing responses on several occasions in the last year. When these instances have arisen, I have been quite grateful to Dr. C, who has assisted me in identifying what was going on with my health. When it comes to liver detoxification, coffee enemas are very beneficial, and my liver has been performing some significant detoxing on a number of times. When I wrote about the quick surge of nausea and faintness that I experienced following my first coffee enema, I was writing about a very specific experience.

  • Despite the fact that that precise circumstance never recurred, I did have other healing reactions as a result of the toxins that were expelled from my liver, and they were rather frightening.
  • Within five minutes, I was coughing, wheezing, and covered in hives all over my body.
  • I was in the hospital for ten days.
  • C feels that my liver was having a tough time digesting the toxins when I transitioned from Phase 1 to Phase 2 detox, and that this was the most likely reason of the strong symptoms I had.
  • That sort of reaction, according to Dr.
  • For good cause, I’m also in a state of excessive “cleaning.” Despite the fact that I have just been eating genuine food for about five years now, I previously had a pretty junky, very normal American diet consisting of few vegetables and a lot of processed food for the previous 26 years.
  • Not to go into great detail about what came out the other side, but suffice it to say that by both sight and smell (shocking I know!

How Coffee Enemas Still Help Me

It is possible to experience several therapeutic responses or new “symptoms” when detoxifying your body from the inside out. These side effects might make the procedure less than pleasant. The body processes toxins in Phase 1 detox and then releases them in Phase 2 detox, causing headaches, nausea, dizziness, exhaustion, muscular inflammation, allergies, and other symptoms. Coffee enemas are truly beneficial at both phases of the process. When I am having a healing reaction such as a headache or nausea that appears to have come out of nowhere, I may do a coffee enema and the reaction will subside within an hour or two of doing so.

  • Instead, I just perform an additional coffee enema or two that day and wait as the response subsides very fast.
  • Recently, I made a green smoothie for breakfast, and I felt terrible within minutes of drinking it.
  • Pains in my stomach and nausea set in, as well as muscle weakness, and I couldn’t move off the sofa for a few hours after that.
  • When I woke up the next morning and had the same green smoothie for breakfast, the same stomach ache and nausea came in.
  • I took a can out of my cabinet and looked at the ingredients inside.
  • I was intrigued.
  • The nausea and stomach ache were gone within 5 minutes of beginning the elimination process!
  • While I’m certain that I won’t be purchasing that particular type of coconut cream again, I was thrilled to learn that coffee enemas can actually aid in the treatment of allergic responses to foods.

Not sure how this would work for allergic foods such as gluten or casein, but I can’t imagine how it could be anything but beneficial if someone unintentionally consumed a sensitive item and wanted to get over their response as soon as possible.

In the Future

There is no moment at which I expect to stop using coffee enemas, until I feel that my body has reached a point where it simply does not require them anymore. Because this simple detoxification therapy has been so crucial in my personal healing, I want to continue to practice it in order to continue to experience positive outcomes. Even Dr. Lawrence Wilson has been doing them on a regular basis for more than 30 years with no negative consequences! In conjunction with a whole foods, nutrient packed diet, quality supplements, and under the guidance of a knowledgeable practitioner, of course, and this is something I want to continue doing in the future.

and my new naturopath, Dr.

Once per week or two is OK with me if that’s what I want, but so far, I haven’t felt the need for them.

Since my first coffee enema post, have any of you tried a coffee enema? Have you made it part of your routine? What benefits have you seen? Anything crazy come out the other side? Let’s share with each other so we can help and encourage one another toward better health!
