This is a fantastic hot day cocktail, perfect for barbecuing some sticky ribs in the backyard with friends. It’s also a fantastic accompaniment to those chilly winter holiday dinners, whether it’s ham at Christmas dinner or wings during the Super Bowl, for example.

Not only does Whiskey pair well with coffee, but it is also one of the best liquors to use because of its robust woody flavors that complement a wide range of coffees. With my Starbucks Decaf Verona mix, I coupled some Wild Turkey Whiskey, and the combination was fantastic!

Any!? To be honest, the white russian is the quintessential illustration of how to combine milk and alcohol. However, any alcoholic beverage will combine well with milk, soy, or coconut cream. It all depends on your own preference and the sort of drink you want to have. If you want a more tropical flavor, coconut milk and rum combined with an excellent dark roast decaf coffee may be just the thing. Alternatively, if you’re looking for a mouth-puckeringly tall Christmas cocktail, combine cinnamon vodka, heavy cream, and a really strong decaf mix to create your concoction.
